When downloading the app, certain required information is transmitted to the app store you have selected (e.g. Google Play or Apple App Store), in particular the user name, email address, customer number of your account, the time of the download, payment information and the individual device code can be processed. This data is processed exclusively by the respective app store and is beyond our sphere of influence.

4.2 The current location

One of the basic functionality of the app is that the current location of the smartphone is recorded and transmitted to the customer's TransIT installation. The location data is also recorded when the app is not in the foreground.

The transfer takes place in several steps:

The location data is recorded on the smartphone and transferred to a cloud server. The data remains on the smartphone until it is transferred. After the transfer, the data will be deleted on the smartphone after a specified period of time. This period can be set in the app settings.

The TransIT installation requests the location data at regular intervals from the cloud server to which the data was transferred. After the successful query, the data remains on the cloud server for a maximum of one week.

In the TransIT installation, the customer has control over the data.

4.3 photos

It is an optional functionality that the user of the app can take photos. Photos taken by the app are transferred to a cloud server. After the transfer, the photos on the smartphone are deleted immediately.
