With the collaboration between navigation software provider infoware and gts, tight stops, for example in waste management, can be displayed and processed even better. What began with a quiet partnership behind the scenes 15 years ago is now in the spotlight as an intensified partnership.
Many sectors in transport logistics are characterized by tight stops. This is also the case in waste management: the disposal companies stop dozens of times - alone in one street. Countless pieces of information have to be processed: left-hand and right-hand loading, spontaneous route changes and compliance with road traffic regulations. Nevertheless, waste disposal must be efficient and optimized in order to be economical. The new collaboration between infoware and gts will help waste disposal companies in the future. The Bonn-based software provider infoware has specialized in high-quality navigation software for companies. With the navigation software "MapTrip FollowMe" from infoware, drivers with gts tour planning software can now efficiently process stops in close succession and be proactively informed about the loading side and traffic restrictions, for example. The collaboration is nothing new for the two companies.
“We have been working with gts in a quiet partnership for around 15 years. We used to help with maps and our geocoder. By intensifying the relationship, we can make everyday work easier for many drivers with our tried and tested software and route planning from gts, ”says Volker Wickenkamp, Director Sales at infoware.
“We at gts are looking forward to intensifying our cooperation with infoware. You can map and process tight stops like no other company. We know each other well, so a close partnership was the next logical step, ”explains Sascha Egener, Head of Partner Account Management at gts.
MapTrip FollowMe from infoware and TransIT from gts will in future be played out via the existing telematics partners. You can find more information about the new partner infoware here.
