At Oxfam Germany's Network Meeting 2025, members from all over Germany came together to exchange ideas, learn from each other - and take responsibility together. We from gts were also there again.
In this special year, we are not only celebrating 30 years of Oxfam Germany, but also our own small anniversary: we have been a member of the ‘Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs’ support network for ten years - and are proud to be part of this effective initiative.
What is ‘Entrepreneur for entrepreneurs’?
With the ‘Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs’ initiative, Oxfam is specifically targeting strong personalities who want to work actively, in solidarity and effectively for more equal opportunities - especially in economically disadvantaged countries. The aim is to open up real prospects for marginalised young people.
Together with experienced local partner organisations, young entrepreneurs are supported by:
- Vocational training and qualification programmes
- Individual coaching and financial education
- Expertise and know-how
- the necessary start-up capital to go your own way
This comprehensive support strengthens the economic independence of young entrepreneurs and creates sustainable development opportunities for entire communities.

This year's network meeting showed us once again how effective this joint approach is. We learnt about exciting projects, had great discussions - and are more motivated than ever to continue our commitment.
