In Germany alone, the company's own fleet of lorries now numbers over 400 vehicles, which transport around 310 tonnes of washed laundry every day. This makes bardusch one of the leading providers in the industry.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5fb3c4e4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5fb3c4e4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-large\">The challenge.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-27040f94 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"27040f94\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In addition to state-of-the-art logistics processes, route planning at bardusch was previously largely carried out manually. Although various software products from other providers were used sporadically, the optimisation potential remained largely untapped and the company's requirements were only partially met.<\/p><p>Andreas Domaser, Head of Distribution Logistics at bardusch, recalls: \u2018I had the task of scrutinising route planning, taking all influencing factors into account.\u2019<\/p><p>Through an initial contact, bardusch became aware of TransIT from gts - software that is specially tailored to the requirements of laundries. Right from the start, TransIT impressed with its ability to map the industry-specific features of laundries, especially for interval deliveries.<\/p><p>Andreas Domaser reports: \u2018TransIT is a complex tool that can map the diverse requirements of our route planning almost completely. But the more complex it is, the better the results. We were supported from A to Z by Thomas Kriese, both during the implementation and during our first project.\u2019<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4885d50b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"4885d50b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-large\">The results speak for themselves.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2f77c532 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2f77c532\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The results were impressive after just a short time:<\/p><ul><li>On Monday alone, two tours were saved at the Soltau site.<\/li><li>Around 1,400 kilometres of driving were saved per week.<\/li><li>Extrapolated, this results in an annual saving of 72,800 kilometres and an impressive 27.6 tonnes of CO2.<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\">Overnight trips could be abolished so that the production processes could be simplified enormously in this respect.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d1d70c4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d1d70c4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-large\">Outlook for the future.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-72bd373 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"72bd373\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Spurred on by its success, bardusch plans to introduce TransIT continuously at all locations.<\/p><p>Andreas Domaser summarises: \u2018With TransIT, we have not only saved costs, but are also making an important contribution to sustainability.
