With over 50 locations in Germany, Sonic Healthcare Germany is one of the largest providers of medical laboratory services in Germany. Around 7,000 employees are working to support medical care in practices and clinics with careful laboratory diagnostics. This is not only ensured by doctors and scientists - the punctual collection of the samples and the transmission of laboratory values \u200b\u200bis also a basic requirement for the well-being of the patients and for smooth processes in the practices and clinics.<\/p>

Dazu werden t\u00e4glich medizinische Proben in den Praxen von niedergelassenen Haus- und Fach\u00e4rzten, Krankenh\u00e4usern und Gesundheitseinrichtungen abgeholt. Oberstes Ziel hierbei ist P\u00fcnktlichkeit und Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit. Ein weiteres wichtiges Qualit\u00e4tskriterium sind maximale Bef\u00f6rderungszeitr\u00e4ume, damit die Proben nicht zu lange unterwegs sind. Nicht nur, weil es sich um sensibles Transportgut handelt, sondern vor allem, damit die \u00c4rzte ihre Patienten zeitnah informieren k\u00f6nnen. Je z\u00fcgiger die Probe ins Labor kommt, desto eher k\u00f6nnen die ausgewerteten Labordaten \u00fcbermittelt werden. „Die \u00c4rzte erwarten heutzutage, dass die Diagnosen bei dringenden Werten wenige Stunden sp\u00e4ter verf\u00fcgbar sind“, erkl\u00e4rt Stefan Rosenthal. „So liegt die Herausforderung darin, den Abholservice an den jeweiligen Praxis- bzw. Klinikablauf anzupassen. Professionelle Logistik bedeutet f\u00fcr uns, dass wir jeden Kunden soweit wie m\u00f6glich wunschgem\u00e4\u00df bedienen und zugesagte Zeiten und Services einhalten.“<\/p>

Nicht zuletzt gilt es, dabei m\u00f6glichst effizient zu agieren – sowohl in den Praxen und Kliniken als auch in den Laboren gibt es detailliert getaktete Abl\u00e4ufe. Dazu bedarf es eines gro\u00dfen Netzwerkes und einer ausgekl\u00fcgelten Tourenplanung. Sonic Healthcare setzt hierbei auf TransIT und arbeitet bereits seit 7 Jahren mit gts zusammen. „Es hat von Anfang an gepasst, denn gts hat unsere spezifischen Anforderungen der Labordiagnostik verstanden und die Software f\u00fcr uns daran angepasst. Durch die pers\u00f6nliche Beratung und individuellen Services bekommen wir ma\u00dfgeschneiderte Software-L\u00f6sungen“, so Stefan Rosenthal. Aus Sicht des Logistik Managers hat die Tourenplanungssoftware einen gro\u00dfen Anteil an der zuverl\u00e4ssigen Logistik seines Unternehmens: „Wir planen und optimieren alle Touren mit TransIT, das l\u00e4uft sehr gut. In den meisten Praxen und Kliniken werden Proben zu vorher vereinbarten Zeiten ein- oder mehrmals am Tag abgeholt, so dass die Abholung als feste Tour geplant wird. „Nahezu 90 % sind gleiche Touren. Hier ist die Planung relativ einfach“, beschreibt Stefan Rosenthal die Abl\u00e4ufe. Eine zweite Tourenkategorie sind Sonderfahrten mit ungeplanten Auftr\u00e4gen. Wenn spontan ein Auftrag hinzukommt, wird gepr\u00fcft, auf welche Tour dieser optimalerweise passt und dann entsprechend disponiert.<\/p>

So-called on-demand customers are a specialty. These pickups are not fixed, but they are so regular that they are included in the tour. \u201cOn-demand customers are integrated into the tours. It is more efficient to plan them in than to schedule them spontaneously and change the current routes. Of course, these are regularly evaluated to check whether the visitors are really so frequent that it is worth taking them on the tour, \u201dexplains Stefan Rosenthal.<\/p>

TransIT also helps with \"free route planning\" as part of strategic route planning. \u201cWe regularly check whether our tours are still economical and whether the promised service level is being met. This includes, for example, the analysis of entire areas. Depending on the data situation, the tours in one area are rescheduled or sometimes completely re-arranged, \u201dsays Stefan Rosenthal.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Als zuk\u00fcnftige Herausforderungen nennt Stefan Rosenthal, dass der Verkehr immer dichter wird. Dies l\u00e4sst sich nicht beeinflussen. Umso mehr brauche man eine intelligente Tourenplanung. Auch dass die ehemals klassische Abholung am Morgen sich zunehmend in den Abend und damit in den Feierabendverkehr verlagert, ist ein neuer Aspekt der Tourenoptimierung. „Nicht zu vergessen ist die Digitalisierung. Aktuell arbeiten wir an einer Fahrer-App um die Disposition und die Kommunikation mit den Fahrern zu erleichtern“, so der Ausblick von Logistik Manager Stefan Rosenthal.<\/p>
