As one of the leading suppliers of medical practice and consultation supplies, Intermed promises a delivery period of 24 hours throughout Germany if the order is received before 2 pm. In total, the company serves more than 20,000 medical practices, hospitals and pharmacies in around 1,000 tours every day. In addition, there is the transport of laboratory samples, where narrow time windows have to be taken into account - a complex task for the tour planner. For this reason, Intermed will rely on the expertise of gts in the future. With the route planning software TransIT, the medical expert wants to digitalise and optimise its route planning more strongly. The planned project start is set for September 2023.<\/p>

ISG Intermed GmbH & Co. KG started in 1985 as a courier service for sample and findings transport. Today, it is one of the leading providers of laboratory sample transport and practice supplies and employs around 1,000 people. The company supplies medical practices, medical care centres, laboratories, hospitals, pharmacies, alternative practitioners and health care facilities in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. With its in-house brand INTERMED, the service provider also covers the product areas of hygiene, disinfection, diagnostics and laboratory supplies as well as dressing materials. In addition, it offers its customers various services, for example, for hygiene and quality management, practice organisation or mail delivery. As part of the LADR laboratory network, Intermed also supplies doctors and hospitals that work together with the medical laboratories of the network with collection and shipping materials.<\/p>
